Haven't biamped 'em just yet. More wire.. more connectors and whatnot needed first.

Tweets are silky... I've been experimenting with the sensitivity between the two amps (the M80's driving the CV's, the Crown driving the Polks). Changes the sound up depending on where I set 'em both. Overall sounding pretty.

For some reason the Crown stands out. Major, industrial metal.
My eye went straight ( ) to the chintzy but, still sweet sounding Denon tape deck :cherry:

I've never seen Polks like those before, new design? I'm not sure i like that silver baffle, looks reflective, I like the house Polk sound, Matthew Polk knows his stuff and he's involved in everything with his name on it, handsome bloke too :rabbit:

So your Denon didn't have the rack handles huh?

Yep, brand new Polks. I figured I would at least "try" some of the new fangled stuff. I read all excellent reviews on these (Monitor 70's), so what the heck.

And NOW... hmmmm... interesting... I am listening to just these right now. I have the Xonar patched straight into the M-80.

And the tone controls on the Xonar are FLAT.. zero tonal embellishment.. And it sounds awesome. (something tells me I'm gonna be eatin' some crow at Larry's soon.. heheheh)

Yeah.. whoa man.. I can't explain it. Maybe I am getting accustomed to how the music sounds with no treble, bass, loudness, or EQ. Just weird...
