Justin needs a CDP he is using an Ipod to make his tapes. All I have is extra carousels or I would give him one of mine.

Can any one help him out?

I could convert 'im to the "dark side".. bua ha ha ha ha

Yep, all's ya need... decent audio card like the M-Audio 24/96. Rip the CD's in lossless format, then play 'em through the M-Audio.

Justin is Ihaarecords. Yes just a single tray. Has to be better than an Ipod. Someone complained about a tape recorded on the LX-3.I said no way. So he showed me his settings. He has the inputs cranked. LOL

I have two earlier Sonys CDP-70 is older but plays fine and can be bussed.

In other words, it has the original version on Control 'S' that daisychains it to a Sony system in about the same ways as Pioneer SR or Kenwood XS? setup would.

Only difference is it uses a 4-pin rectangular pin for in and out like one for CD-R audio (the flat black one) but it's exactly like the current stereo 1/8 inch mini jacks these systems use now. My projector remote for the VPH-1044Q (722 type) uses the minijacks too.

IT WORKS. the Other Sony opens and shuts quickly so not that.

Are you near him that i could send it to you?

Larry the thrift and pawn shops here are filled with CDP's from $5 to $20. I can't believe you can't find on locally as shipping is bound to run $15 to $20.

Let me take a look today as I may have a working single drawer here.

Me LOL not for me. I have already told him to come over.He has a fedex acct. This isn't for me.If I had one I would give it to him. He is a family man trying to make ends meet. You can't make good tapes off an Ipod.I'm just trying to pass it forward is all. A lot of people have helped me. So I try to help others. That is all this is about. Brightening the Karma in us all.

I hope we stay the forum that helps each other and stick together like family. That is what makes us unique.

damn, my baby's still lonely.

Back to the workshop and nuts and bolts for the CS-33A pair missing two terminal cap screws. $15 and SWELL, headed to school...

no really, my teacher friend buys a system every year and I think gives it away to his best student. This year and SX-6, VSX-5000, CS-33A and speaker pair TBA.

Anybody know what size that big screw should be? The other has it's pair.
