A friend of mine, Robert, owned one for a short time. He nicknamed it "the breadbox." Because he doesn't drive a car, I offered to drop his deck off for servicing which including changing the belts and idler tire, lube, and a couple of bulb replacements. It is a great sounding deck, and I was floored to hear how well it played even a pre-recorded cassette, a Dire Straits pick. You have to like the looks and size, though. It's a great deal as stuwee has said.
