Almost look like minor Lott’s but the clips are at the bottom so no idea.

Crack em open and see what the drivers are.

I pulled one of the woofers this morning real quick, said "Taiwan" on the back. They are both woofers too, no passives. Also square head (Robertson) screws holding the drivers in. I cant imagine these will sound good, the foam on the woofers are starting to let go

Back of one of the Mids

Probably no name department store OEMs which is surprising, because they were powered by a decent mid 80s JVC av receiver, Pioneer bookshelf speakers as the "B" system, Fisher "Studio Standard" components.....

Maybe a "local" designed the cabinets using what driver he could get at the time?

They might sound better than crap...

Eh these sound like crap. I was going to re purpose one as a big boombox but they aren't up to par for even that. They will meet they're demise when I fix the shorted channel on my GFA-555

Kyle: Those speakers are being over-driven. Oh well, I would have saved them until your next wiener roast.

Nando.
