It was fairly simple starting with a double burger with one cheese slice, relish and bread toasted on the grille. Then came the first time for making some beans with the grille!

Great Northerns, canned and partially drained for body
stewed tomatoes
chopped green onions
ketchup
mustard
basil
oregano
garlic
a pinch of salt


I placed it in a large Fire-King Pyrex bowl and set it on the main grill for well over a half hour (don't know, I checked twice and went out there when I thought it was good and done...

See the nice baked ring around the top?

Might have to try your bean recipe. Sounds like it would be right up my alley.
