I think, it may have been in "What Are You Doing Today", it may also be in the digital section for dealing with surface mount to DIP 8 adapters. My first soiree into soldering surface mount was quite funny...

I dad a pair of them at the same time, new PS caps, poly and film for ceramic, swapped out all transistors except the outputs, changed the bias pot for something that had some resolution.....sounded pretty damn good when we got done...

If you haven';t already a little more headroom won't manage that. I've pushed the K's pretty hard at times, i've blown woofs, mids and tweets and regretted not a second of t....
