3 days of piddling with this thing. Still not done. Take back apart. Lube the spindle. Buff the top some more and do the sides. I am so careful with this cart. It isn't finny.I do have a question. The higher you go on carts the more revealing?

What do you mean by higher? Price is not always the determining factor, there is some pricey junk out there. lol

Should I even justify that with a response? I'm sitting here listening to equipment that cost less than a lot of boomboxes. Except the speakers and in a few minutes it will become bi-wired because wire is wire. LOL

LMBO at both of you. They are used in certain worlds to make money. Never get drunk and want BBQ chicken. That was all that was there. So we killed him and ate him. LOL Man it was so tough you chewed on it hoping your saliva would help soften it so you could swallow it. Not our brightest moment in the world. LOL It was hilarious to even us. Wasn't to our friend the next day. LOL It was his breeding rooster. We ate some money up that night. LOL We felt bad so we went and got more beer. Pretty soon he saw the funny side of it again. LOL All night long he would go "We Ate My Rooster" and just start cracking up. Just out of the blue. LOL

Been a long week for this guy. The spindle oil Jim recommended got here. I oiled the spindle. Shot all the sliding. turning, or any bearing surface with teflon. 2 More coats of wax. Put it back together. Start messing around. Cycle and spray lube cycle and spray. A bunch of times. Now some tunes. Put BOC on. I knew the speed was messed up from buffing the top. Put the headphones on. Listened a second to see which way to go. I don't have a centering mark. So I crank it full CW and use my thumb nail to get it close. Didn't sound right. So I started one and then the other. Today I learned what tweaking your rpm is all about. As soon as I hit the spot. The music just came alive. Been trying to get the lift dead on. Can't be to high at the top and to low in the center. Or it doesn't lift the arm high enough. Now to me it is a pain. LOL
