Metrology - my second hobby

Hello Ed,
Very interesting contributions. I taught Metrology, and Advanced Metrology at the college level for almost 25 years.
So many things have changed but our very basic standards have not. Thanks for posting this.

How about a guess?
Madison Area Technical College in Madison, WI or Hutchinson Technical College/ Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, MN.

Hello Ed,
Right on the money. Madison Area Technical College. I held classes for UW - Madison Engineering students on our campus as well. I finished my Six Sigma Black Belt in 1996, and was Plant Manager at several area businesses in the Madison area. I got my MS in Career and Technical Education and finished out my 25 year career in education before retiring. I am a Master Tool and Diemaker , built many really interesting tools (Dies, Die Casting and Plastic Injection Molds) over the decades. I wore a lot of hats in 55 years, gone to school forever it seems. Worked in several state of the art Metrology Labs and Toolrooms in the area. Always started that first semester of the year with the history and use of Johansson gage blocks as the standard. Great info, thanks again for posting.
