Today, I mailed out a CD to Larry. It's an older CD of Colin James. Colin is Canadian, of course. Larry is managed by a Canadian, last I heard.

Thanks, stuwee. I purposely named it MME to include the big MM, of course. Larry deserves a gift (small as it is) from time to time, to prove we do appreciate his devotion to this forum.

Went to the mailbox a few minutes ago. Great CD. The boy can play that is for sure. I just don't understand Canadian. LOL I don't speak it. Well that is what I tell my better half. LOL

You will learn to appreciate Canadians, Larry. I made sure there were plenty of Canadian artists on the Traveling Guitar Tapes. You do like Frank Marino? Neil Young? Tom Cochrane & Red Ryder? Or, how about Brian 'Too Loud' MacLeod?

When he became political I quit listening to him. I pay to hear him sing and play. Not make statements about my country that he has made millions in.

Do you mean like the Boss. I don't listen to him either anymore. No Bono either. Never did listen to the Dixie Chicks. To me what makes them think I want to hear their point of view. Just play and sing and keep the rest to your self. I don't want to hear it.

Larry, would you rather hear the Go-Go's? They don't make political statements and bassist, Kathy Valentine, is/was hot. Really, you don't like Neil Young because of his choice of material. Well, CSNY's long rendition of "Southern Man" should be enjoyed for the great song it is. All of CSNY's material has meaning to listeners. Maybe, that's why today's music and lyrics don't stand the test of time and are soon forgotten.

Nando, I think Larry just has a problem with their little speaches they make from time to time, not so much the messages in the songs, that's we I think his a silly billy, now if he was talkin' Kid Rock or Ted Nugent his story would differ greatly :mrgreen:
