Very cool piece of history right there ... but it looks like it spent some time underwater! ...or at least in a damp environment. Lots of that cloth wire is moldy. Makes you wonder how the transformer windings look inside those cans.
 
If it was Navy, it had to pass the depth charge barge test, need those retainers to keep the tubes from popping out.

20 grand ????
 
In that condition its not worth much, A lot of non original parts
 
Yeah that’s twice the price I’d expect for a restored pair in excellent condition with all NOS tubes
