Congratulations on reeling those in. Sounds like that magical feeling of hearing favorite music like you've never heard it before.

I listened to a pair of Martin Logans with some newer McIntosh gear at a house awhile back and I think they are excellent speakers with great detailed soundstage. Enjoy!
Thanks buddy, it is really unreal! Spooky on a level I'm unused to, I've been blessed! Thank you Pa for the funds to make my dream come true!! Love ya and miss ya Pa!!!!

Update: It just gets better and better and I've still not played with the placement much. I believe you should understand what they are capable of first listening to familiar music then, start 'dialing them in' with the room. Then you get to have two friends come over and adjust the 25hz and 50hz controls for the woofers (a mini parametric if you will) while you listen. Then you install the spike footers.

I plan on trying the long wall next. I'm not an HT guy, so this might work better for the 2-channel sound, they need to be approx 12' apart and 2' out into the room leaving 10' to the listening couch. A bit tight in my 16' deep room. ML says the best sidewall is no sidewall and that gives me plenty of no sidewall with 27' on the long wall!! Now to get John to handle these beauties out into the room!

It's all an adventure and learning experience, and I love it!!
