Broken beyond repair but highly affable
I went outside today to check the mail and look over the grounds. saw my cat Spot and said hello, went back to the shed. Two minutes later I came bvack to the front and noticed something at the hole in the foundation.

It was Spot. It hadn't but gotten it's front paws and head pointed in the entrance, turning left and it just died like that. Damn.

No idea why, a friend who deals with feral cats is supposed to come and see it it was mayhem or disease. The cat was less than three.

"Mama" passed nearby, at the back corner of the steps and foundation, about a year ago.

Sorry Steve. I've had Jazz for 22 years. Since she was a few days old. found her near death on an oilfield location, eyes matted shut, barely alive. Got the vet outta bed at 10:00 PM, got to his office, got her eyes soaked back open. Bought formula, baby bottles and took 7 days of vacation to give that little girl a chance.Brought her home in my shirtpocket, she has been "imprinted" as a human, and I laughed at the vet saying"And you act like that's a bad thing!!" Jazz don't think so. I'm Ma cat, have been for 22 years. She was the first of many abandoned animals I've brought in from the field. Over a hundred. We take em to the vet, get em back on their feet, healthy, then find good homes for em.

I'm so sorry to hear about your cat Steve. These guys help us get through life and we do get attached.

That's sad, we love our cat and I remember not wanting a pet. Now he's part of the family. Sorry for your loss.

I have 2 cats. Ferrels carry a lot of disease. The way my cats act is funny. They sulk and know when certain things are going to happen. I bought a dart gun to play with them. Boots will carry one dart to me when she wants to play and meow. My cats very seldom meow. LOL

Mine occasionally talks, and is in constant communication with facial expresions and body language. Absolutely impossible to misinterpret.

It turned out that it wasn't Spot, it was Mix-up.

I have too many black and white patched cats. SPOT showed up the next day.

Still, that is two adult females, one fixed the latest had littered recently.

That leaves Spot, Spots, Tabs and Tabby, Monochrome and Charlie.

(Like the perfume, I never know what gender the cats are until, you know)
