Let's take this thread back to the 70's

Only choose 1 subject since the 70's was lacking important shit and we want enough to go around. There WOULD have been more and bigger headlines but most of yuse guys were busy punching computer cards instead of finding the cure for Cancer, ALS, or the Common Black Clap.

My 70's revisit is............

Nixon Resigns After Watergate Scandal

Please only list 1 or 2........

In the 1970's, listing what I can remember, which is more than 1 or 2:

AMF (Harley Davidsons) appeared in the motor company showrooms.

The Beatles broke up in 1970.

The Kent State Massacre happened in 1970.

The Munich Olympics Massacre happened 1n 1972.

The oil crisis started in 1973 when I had a job at a gas station.

The movie Jaws came out in 1975, and I loved it. (previously mentioned)

The Mary Tyler Moore Show went off the air in 1977, I still miss it.

Elvis died in 1977, but some people think he is still alive! (previously mentioned)

Best of all, Honda introduced the CBX 6-cylinder motorcycle, there were other 6-bangers out there, like the 1972 Benelli Sei and the Kawasaki KZ1300 water-cooler, but Honda had the best marketing. I had a '79 CBX for about five years, best bike I ever owned. Six carbs, six pipes, six speeds, powerband from nothing to infinity, oil-in-the-frame, only 2" wider than a CB750, double overhead cam (DOHC), 24 valves, 9.3 compression ratio, 105 HP, 1/4 mile time of 11.5 sec, twin disc brakes in front - single disc in the rear, 40 MPG, and only 440 pounds. It was a rocket that had a sound like nothing else.

Hell Joe, I would have given you Extra Credit Points for high ranking government gunplay like.... Shooting your buddy in the neck while bird hunting..... Even IF it was in a different time.
