Let's take this thread back to the 70's

Growing up in my dads shop I saw when the shift occurred. Up to about 1971 cars were “normal” then they went off the rails.

By 74 everything had massive bumpers and diminutive engines further choked by emission standards like “lean burn” and the glorious secondary air pump.

Ever count the number of front bumper bolts on a late 70’s Chevy nova?
