I was cruising the local classifieds and came across these for $50...absolutely didn't need them but I couldn't pass them up.

As a young British lad said about my Gramps Jag, "Wot'll she do mister?" Eek, that's huge, imposeing, looks like that display will tell you all you need to know and then some!
 
I'm in de-acquisition mode! 7-10 speakers sold and going b-bye to one person. No earth shattering ones and I make 50 bucks and clear out some nice space.

I have them in the basement next to the existing stack of speakers so they blend in. She's been down there several times and hasn't said a word....so far so good. :lol:

That was my goal this year but it didn't last long. :lol:

I bet she did notice (they see everything ;) ). She just loves you too much, and knows it keeps you outta trouble :thumbright:

I'm on my own for a few days while the better half is on travel, so I brought the T-5000's up from the basement to give them a good listening to. I have them running in the living room off the HK-3490 and they sound wonderful. Like night and day from the Heresy II's I had last year. I have Diana Krall's Steppin' Out playing on CD playing....sweeet. :toothy10: It looks like the Tangents will be seeing some play time after all. :toothy7:
 
How many watts will they take? You live in the country. I have a PL 700B we could try to blow your speakers up with. LOL
