Picked up a pair of Klipsch Chorus 1 yesterday. Cant wait to get them hooked up. Still looking for the illusive K horns, but these will work for now.

I have plans for the K's....build your own. Ya gonna replace all the drivers anyway...

So, Kenny, how do they sound???????????????????????????????????

You seem to be very remiss in the review department!! I just got a full nights sleep in about a month so I'm liable to be a wee bit of a smartass today.

Very warm sounding. Quite an improvement imo over the HPM's. Great clarity and good bass, mids and highs. I am very happy with them. Im no reviewer though.

I have to argue with that.Very good review right there.

Thanks. My review was based on when I auditioned them. Holy moses Batman. They are like bad ass. I actually got them hooked up to Lickety Split and the PL3300 today. First thing I played was Bad Company - Desolation Angels on the Pioneer 707 and I swear the seagulls sounding liked they were flying all around me. Truly blown away at the difference and what I've been missing.

You are now horn F*&^%$. There is no going back....

I believe my Pioneer CS-A31s have a horn, as I do have all the parts stocked. Also loved my BIC Venturi Formula 2's, also 3-ways with horns and a bottom 'venturi' port.

What really surprised me were the 1960s Jensen SP paper tweeters I had in my Altec Model Three cabs with the really THIN cones and closed frames...those get the highs out there LOUDLY/BRIGHTLY to the point of needing to attentuate them for being almost shrill!
