Just received a cabbage box with a WOPL Phase Linear Series II 700 inside from Lee. I can finally understand why everyone who has one is so pleased. This amplifier is quiet. I cannot hear it through my speakers when it is turned all the way down at all. Its the only amplifier I have ever had I can say that about. Its pretty amazing. The amplifier looks like it was custom made to match all the rest of the equipment in the rack as well. Could not be more pleased. Have to hand it to Joe. This is some kind of engineering feat. The sound is hard to explain. I have had many, many amplifiers and not even warmed up this is the best I have heard. Thanks Lee. Thanks Joe. Alison Krauss is always a favorite for me, especially the mastering on the early Rounder Records SACDs that are unfortunately long out of print.

Tested the WOPL 700b yesterday.
10 years old, dc offset 0.4 and 0.9
Bias locked solid 0.349 and 0.347
Had one issue with caps on the backplanes, revision A. Joe and Lee have been fully supportive with troubleshooting.
It has been perfect, and not driven overly hard because I have 12 inch woofers. 15’s would utilise it better. Im thinking of building my own speaks with heavy duty marine ply.
Changed the woofs to paper cones the other day and Im rocking! Plus Bi-amping. A new dimension of sound quality.
Keep it running cool. Its an amp for life, fuckin love it.
