Yepper as much as I can. The Shanlings have went crazy. My 1900.00 CDP is now in some places 3900.00 to 5000.00 It sounds so good though.

I have a very rare and very nice McIntosh MR65 tube tuner I am selling. Built in '61 and hard to tell it's more than a few years old. It is stereo but only FM
That would be my suggestion Larry, and get the wood case with it!! It would offset that ugly pre-amp your looking to build

Stuwee are you going to give me the money? I don't have it at the moment. That is why I'm buying a Preamp Kit.

Haha! You funny man Mr. Larry  , how much is the Jolinda 402A? Not much info on the price that I could find. Anyway, like I said, vintage tube tuners have a magic no modern equipment can come close to. My Pilot, Marantz and McIntosh's are the one to get if you want the finest FM broadcast sound. I know you listen to classical sometimes, do you have a local station that does live feeds from the soundboards of performances? Well, we do here, and the sound is utterly jawdropping, and my console needs a refurb.

Send me that damn amp outta that thing!
I will buddy, this month has me extra strapped, can't even afford shipping right now. I'll start a thread on this board about dismantling it from the console with pics.

No Am. FM depends. If I'm outside I listen to it so I don't have to change CDs. Also if I'm in there on the weekends I listen while I'm doing paper work. I'd say about 10 hours a month.
