A thought, as in Joe has not replied to your invitation to put down his thoughts.... Damn guys, is it me or is having to explain a smart ass remark standard procedure nowadays??
Man I tried working with that big slab of copper ya sent, today. I'd need to cut it lengthwise because it'll stick too far up on the meters, or too far down on the +/- cap terminals. No industrial strength metal bandsaw round these parts.. my finger is still sore from holding it while using a jigsaw with a metal blade.. (yeah I know.. waaah... ). Looks like the old one's going to have to do...
Boards are in with some wiring done. Joe I'm contemplating the AC wire I have to run across the back for the DCP. Thinking of either shielding it or using twisted pair with the DCP's ground to star ground. Thoughts?
I am not up to being a wise ass tonight Jer so I will not double down on Lee's comment.
I recommend you run all your AC along the top edge as no low level stuff is going on at that edge of the chassis. It is too bad that AC has to run to that DCP in the first place.
Thanks Joe. Yeah, I went with the twisted pair up top (blue + white.. thanks Lee!). Tried to keep it somewhat separate from the other lines running up there. We'll see when I get everything together and power up, which should be sometime this weekend.
