Most of my taras don't have arrows. And everytime I go to switch components I find some backwards. The arrows are BS. I hear no difference.

Yeah, I think I got a good match for it in the preamp department. Pulled this ole Marantz 5.1 pre out of the closet the other day. No frills on it, but it sound pretty nice with the CV's...

Now we just need some... WATTS... tons o watts.. yeah... .

Jer, one more happy customer...

So now I have become a critical listener after 24 hours of passionate listening to the Phase Linear 900 that just keeps getting better and better. I detected that the left channel did not sound as crisp as the right channel and maybe the left channel was a bit louder. Time to do some troubleshooting. I reached back into the nether-regions where the spiderwebs are to disconnect the 10-gauge speaker wires on the Neutrik speakON jacks and noticed that the HF attenuators on my speaker crossovers are in different positions! An A-HA moment was regained and regarded both the same.

I quickly moved to place the left speaker HF attenuator to the "Min" position and crank on some Who - from "The Kids Are Alright" album. When the CD got to "A Quick One" and the crescendo of Pete's screaming SG met with the syncopation of Keith Moon's drums, punctuated by John Entwistle's thundering bass lines, I thought I had died and gone to heaven - musical heaven. Sonic perfection restored. The balance was perfect and the missing highs on the left side had returned. I listened to the CD four times and never got tired of one stanza of the melodic hypnotism. And all of this from PA speakers!!! I cannot imagine what studio monitors or real stereo speakers like Wharfdale, Acoustic Research, or Paradigm would sound like. Did I mention Klipsch? I love this amplifier.

NO!!!! You didn't mention KLIPSCH!!
Mark, i KNOW JUST HOW YA FEEL, great ain't it. I have come to the conclusion speakers will take a LOT MORE CLEAN POWER, than I ever thought. I would hate to even guess at the SPL's in the mancave, but they're probably scary.

I would be out trying to find the truck. Chasing him down, finding where he usually eats lunch. I'd find him, and have that baby off the truck in my my backseat, then unpacking it as I drive twoward home, so that, as you get out of the car, you can grab the rack handles and close the back door with your butt. Have the wife ready, with the door opened, RCA cords in left hand (right is red) hand and the speaker wires in the other, and the music you choose already qued and ready to play.

Man, tonight is going to be a fun night for you. You lucky dog!!!!

Larry, i haven't even packed the Cary's yet. I've put in some long days and it's been hot this week, haven't felt like doing much after work. I will get em packed this weekend. Still have to pack Robert's dbx 200(dropped the ball big time on that) , Stu's Onix, Nando's package is packed ands labeled, If you wait till I'm done with paying customers that may be awhile. With yours having all the upgrades except the board and outputs it'll be quick and easy, send it.

Take your time I just thought you wanted stuff out of your basement. The TT may be a bit longer I don't like the headshell plugs. They fall off to easy. Si I may try some other and see.

been trying to figure out how to get the platter/laser assembly in with the Cary's. It ain't gonna fit so I'll give up on that.
