It is hard to believe what this country is going thru. What if it happened to us? People would be looting and all kinds of things. Not over there. Fox News has a page with organizations to donate to who won't rip you off. I figure if I can watch another TT being bid on I can donate some money. Even the gov't doesn't have any gas. What should we do.

Very sad

As a former Akita owner ( I miss ya I-Da-Ho :love3: ) I feel for all the pets too, why hasn't the Humane Society set up a donation site yet?? There was a pic on CNN of a house wiped away with an Akita curled up where the front door used to be, waiting....

Although the nuclear thing is scary, it's still the safest power supply system on the planet, how many oil spills have happened in the last 50 years?

Arkansas has been shaken quite a bit lately, if the New Madrid fault does a 8 like it did in 1811, the US will be in worse shape than Japan is right now

Jesus is comming back soon, Look Busy!

We are already in bad shape when the Pres. has more time to do the NCAA brackets then govern. He is making us look weak. By not speaking about Japan. They are our 2nd largest borrower after China. What if they call in out debt? Why hasn't he helped in Libya? He lets I ran walk all over us. In my eyes he is worse than Jimmy Carter and that is bad. The French boycotting Libya before we do. That is just crazy. This guy is a joke. He is in the special interests back pocket. Especially the Unions.

Yes if you read the bible Jesus is coming sooner than later. To much prophecy being fulfilled at the moment.
God Help Us
Sorry for the tangent.

PS I love Akitas. I would have one; but I think it would eat my cats. LOL

I disagree, Obama is doing what we we should have done more of in the past mind our own business. We can afford two wars let alone three. I would let Iran alone they are not a threat to us unless we keep pestering them.

As far as Japan, we are offering help and they have taken us up on some of it. They are a proud people and will not ask for help even if they need it.

As far as Libya we can't keep sticking our noses in where it doesn't belong. Just my two cents.

Unlike our neighbors to the south who sit on their ass on the side of the road and watch other people rebuild their country,,the Japenese are industrious and hard workers and will pull together as a Country ,,I,d stay out of the middle east end the war in Afganistan we Can,t win the hearts and minds any way I,d work on getting this country back in shape economically and military,,meanwhile I,m upping my inventory of ammo

I use to agree very much so with being isolationist. Then I started thinking. I hate NAFTA. Then people started talking about us farming our jobs out. Well I look at it this way. How many other countries have businesses over here. What if they pulled all their jobs out of the states.

I sort of agree about Libya; but look at the war we are fighting on terrorism. If we show any kind of weakness they will jump on it. I do not want the UN running our country. This President that is the 1st thing he asks. What would the UN do? The UN is not a friend of this country.

So we are damned if we do and damned if we don't.

No one wants the UN running any country. I just think that we have been the worlds bully and police for far too long. It is time for others to step up to the plate and take a stance on something. Good to see France speaking out against Libya.

As far as terrorism goes yes we are damned if we do and damned if we don't. I haven't figured that one out yet. Eventually maybe the good people in that part of the world will rise up and take care of the terrorists.
