IT'S HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well........... Have ya got her hooked up yet ? Lets go...... Im just sitting here waiting to see what ya think........

Nope, busy doing workstuff, and Jani has the rare opportunity to sleep in this morning after fretting ovwer me for the last three weeks, nice cool breeze blowing through the bedroom, just right for sleeping in. Ain't gonna mess with that, she's too good to me. So I'll blow the windows out later.

Let me know when, I'll step outside and give a listen, it ain't that far to Illinois for an amp like that.

Jim

Ya know Jim, with it driving a set of Jamborees you may be right. I believe the Jamborees are rated at 800-900 continous.

I hear that !!!!! Id say thats a good move on your part.... I hope that thing sounds as good as it checked out !!!!! Ya gotta be like a kid with a new bike...... Just dying to ride that thing.

And the cat is napping on my chest, so i'm just F&^%$ all the way around.

So what are you going to change inside the amp? What power transistors is it using? Does it have a PCB which can be improved? Just anxious to see where you are going to take this amp, or is there a "next level"? Leaving it stock? I doubt it...I know you'll put new and improved parts in her....I know you'll have to change the switch and anything else that can be improved upon...I know you'll want to improve that FR...you'll get it flatter than it is now...

I believe its time to wake up the cat and shake some windows....... LOL....

Rock Candy from Montrose I have always found to be a good one to bring the Police to check out a system. lol

Jim

I'm not totally sure what all of it means

I must be too old :cyclops:

OK, had to build a set of XLR tomale RCA's. 20 more minutes and we'll be there. Warming the ears up on the spec 2 just below the current limiters with some "Waterjuice", soon, soon......

Been wanting to do this for awhile anyway--build some IC's. I had come upon some Belden 8412, microphone cable it was being used for.

Here we go!!!!! 1 set of XLR to RCA's.

Aw jeez, um, uh, ........................SCOTTY!!!!!!!THAT"S ENOUGH POWERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

With less that half the input to a 700 we are already at ear splitting levels. The Spec 1 is usuallyu about 11:30, NOT NOW, 9:00 MAX.. The SPL meter has gone spastic. It pegged, shits falling all over the place.
