I spent more time watching the Monaco GP, Indy race and some America's Cup Racing. Lots of delays in Charlotte.

Those America's Cup boats can Fly and it is cool watching a quick 7 leg race with passing and boats going 45 MPH in a less than 15mph wind. How do they do that. That is some cool technology.

It WAS ironic watching the GEICO insurance sponsored car at the lead of a five-car debacle.

It was also ironic that Fernanado Alonso, McLaren-Honda driver in F1 took the weeks off and the Monaco race off to participate in the Indy 500. His multi-year issues with Honda not producing an adequate engine system to be competitive in F1 and having such difficulty that Fernando did not finish many races this year and did not start!!! in one because of motor problems. How can an F1 engine supplier not produce a motor that will get one to the starting line?

And then his Honda motor at Indy grenades with 20 laps remaining, Fernando having been competitive, leading at times throughout the event. Oh, the replacement driver for Fernando at Monaco, Jensen Button, earned a 15 grid spot penalty for engine changes during the weekend and was able to not finish the race, either. Good day all around for Honda. What happened to them? They used to rule F1.
