I hope he is ok. I called a friend in Kingwood, not too far from the affected area. They had the heavy rain but no sign of the tornadoes.

The tornado hit deer Park. Spencer is about 20 miles south of there. My Houston area office is about 15 miles south west of Deer Park. The downpour was far worse than anything I’ve seen. An hour later the sun was out.

Hey guys, I am good….. No damage at my house. My plant and many others were shutdown due to power losses and several of our folks had minor damage from tree limbs and flying debris.
Amazingly with all the damage, I haven’t heard of any loss of life.
Man, these tornadoes don’t play….we are used to 3 or 4 days to get ready for severe weather, not 15 minutes.
