From leasing a doomed Texaco station in it's last six months (I think it had to do with I-80 -- now I-84 -- losing the last intersection and traffic signal on any interstate highway but I am not totally sure) to running a convenience store, gasoline distribution company, even a jet fuel supplier.

He quit college and eventually funded the building for an entire department at Boise State University.

All at the age of 20, 41 years ago.
