heads up: empty K-Horn cabinets - $50

Chip's a MUSICIAN...trust him.

Besides that, I gave him all the poop on the Blues, Cabbage and Emigrant, 6% grades, big switchbacks and lots of turnouts...where to get road info.

BTW It's gonna snow all day I heard. Not HERE, The Wicked Witch would not like the melting...

just got off the phone with Chip. he made good time an is just outside of Seattle. with the pick-up being Monday morning he's planning to spend Sunday on the coast.

Ok then... Let me ask this... What size trailor is he pulling ? That will be one tight fit in the back of that truck. I guess with some good straps and the tail gate down he might make it.... Hope ya get a pic of that before he unloads them.

I wouldn't pull a trailer on I-84 when it's snowing. I would leave the gate up. There's enough room in that bed.

The kid swamped for me when I drove Gin Truck at Cyclone Drlg moving drilling rigs. The object of having swampers(helpers) was to be breaking out a continuous supply of potential drivers. Sooooooooo, when you went to the truck pusher and informed him your swamper was ready to drive, the results were a direct reflection of your skill as a driver, teacher , patience, humility and sheer will against stark panic. Running a winch truck you could observe all day, but until you got in that seat and pulled them levers it didn't mean a thing. So when your swamper is driving the driver is swamping.......if you were a good driver and good teacher you made good drivers, then there was Chip. So is he not only shouldering the onus of his skill, but also the skill and judgement of every driver he's swamped for. He will succeed, he has no choice, failure is not an option, right Chip??? Cause you don't want to do this 100 times after every one else has gone home right??

Scott, he said he will call you before 9:00PM. He was going to check out the nightlife, elbow up to some local musicians, I told him stay out of trouble, but for him IT'S REALLY HARD SOMETIMES. Has a mouth that just can't stay shut at times.

Every once in awhile things work out. Chip is not in jail and only 20 minutes out of Graham.

He didn't sound that bad to me...

the cabs got loaded and Chip got away safely. he was hoping to make Billings in the early AM Tuesday, but its a good 13 hour drive so he allowed for stopping short of there if necessary. we were so preoccupied with getting loaded and getting him on the road i completely forgot about pic's, but everything looked good with the cabs and load. if the weather holds he should be fine for a safe return.

Scott I can't thank you enough for taking time out of your day to help. You need anything let me know, I owe ya bud.

no worries, it was my pleasure! Chip and I got acquainted over a good breakfast and everything went smoothly. i had a good time with the small part i played.

Chip navigated through rain, 6 " of snow on the pass , trucks off the road everywhere, and the little Ranger keeps puttin down the road. I think he shut er down in Spokane.

I had a ranger once.... 6cyl. 5spd. Ext cab 2 wheel drive. When I sold it a year or so ago it had 260000 plus miles on it.... As far as I know it's still going.... Sure Glad all that worked out Lee.... Don't ya just love when a plan comes together.... Ya had good people on that project didn't ya ???

Yeah and the kid was due for a road trip, so yeah it's all good thanks to Scott.

2 or 3 days Scott. He has relation in Billings, Sheridan and Buffalo. He hadn't seen some for awhile so he was going to take advantage of the opportunity.
