Been on a bike at 140 MPH. Been in a car at 160 MPH. The bike you pray you are laying low enough that a big bug don't hit you. LOL

I think I hit 130MPH on the '85 Magna 700 I used to have when I was a late teen. But at least that was on an interstate with NOBODY around.

Hmmm.. when I was growing up I got into two bicycle accidents, both requiring at least 17 stitches to the forehead.

What do my parents do when I reach the 11th grade?? Get a 700 MC... (I wonder what the insurance payout on my head was back then?? LOL)

Yep, one lil rock or deer in the way and I woulda been toast.
 
A long time ago, I hit 110 in an ford escort racing a friend in an accord on the highway with no traffic. 125 in an 86 dodge Daytona turbo z. Still fast. Never had anything that hit a big top speed. Sometimes Now Ill go 90 for a spell on the highway. 30 over is criminal speed. Imagine the ticket, and the arrest of that biker in mass. $50 for the first 10 miles over, $10 for each additional mile. $1150! Might be other things imposed from state to state but likely arrest and loss of license.
 
Buried the speedo in my ElCamino in the day, over 125, been to only 105 on a bike, to old for that sh!t now, cars are easy, bikes give me tunnel vision that fast, never again on a bike.

Did 150 in my kids Mitsubishi 3000 GT. Did 140 on a Yamaha 1300. When I was much younger and a lot dumber.
