Glantoirs 'Name The Album' Thread

Some interesting responses.

I'll say no more than that...

Clue#3 Picture#3

Not British.
Avant-garde - but not obscure.

First released on Warner Bros. Records in 1982.

Not one in my collection, Daren, but I'm sure I've heard a tune of hers before. Good detective work, Dave.

Nando.

Another one for the "oldies". We need the brain exercise...sorry MM, had to do it.

Big clue in the pic.

Bingo!
Where you going with the next one Web?

You know from the first image you posted Canned Heat was in my brain but I never googled it.

Next up from the mid 90's. hopefully it is not too easy and will meet Miles approval Although many may say mid 90's is old fart territory too?

When I think 90's punk, i think NOFX, Pennywise, Lagwagon, Offspring.

Green Day Insomniac.

Well done Ben.

As soon as punk was mentioned, I thought of Green Day - but you beat me to it!

from 1981, one of the most iconic artistic performance videos and songs of all time.

Helps if people can do a better job of ripping...after three attempts.

That was an outstanding puzzle selection Web. Really mixed things up, for sure.
Not a Green Day fan so it flew right by me ...

Me neither, but I save albums covers to my desk top while looking for the current contest ones. :toothy5: If I see something that catches my eye I save it.
