Gary's good tunes 700 build

It's ALIVE

Jamming now.. Gary, you're in for a treat. WONDERFUL sounding...

Just gotta wait for Joe's shipment and that'll be IT. Think I'll put on some Queen - Another One Bites The Dust to mark the occasion.. heh

I'm stoked!!!!

The total re-build must have cured the unfindable short that exasperated Lee when he was trying to help me get it going.

Listening to Porcupine Tree (while Webby sits in a corner, eating flashbulbs.. hmmm.. ).. NICE.

Webby eating flashbulbs??

I thought I was up on my bands but I've never heard of Porcupine Tree before. Then again, I've never heard of Big Star either until I watched a bio on Netflix a couple of weeks ago.

Wonderful work Jer - you're knocking these out quick and they are quite the lookers.

Thanks Man! And man does it sound good... And getting better now that we have some electrons moving about getting the components burnt in! Listening to some old SD... "Your Gold Teeth II". Clean, clear, and powerful. :thumbleft:

Wow.. now that's nice there... Almost ready, Gar! I'm going to let er burn for a few days, then it's back to Lee first. Lee.. AP this mofo if ya have a chance, eh???

The anticipation has got me to thinking about which LP to play first. The song Rock and Roll has been going in my head the last few days so it might be Led Zeppelin IV. The 700B's birthday was May 2, 1974 and that album was released in 1971. Something from the same era might be fitting and I have a mint original copy.

Don't know why I'd mention this but Karma Chameleon has also been in my head and it won't go away. Don't want to think about why. Couldn't play it anyway, never owned a Culture Club album - never will.

BTW what's AP mean?

It will get a complete battery of performance tests on my Audio Precision ATS-1DD analyzer. The results will then be printed out and sent with it.
