Funny pictures...

Concrete floors are a definite benefit for damping vibration. One reason I built out this little room downstairs - didn't want everything sitting on the rack on a wood floor.

I don't know. The whole damn basement vibrates with the bass. Upstairs too. I just don't think I ever turn music loud enough to make the kind of bass that will make the TT arm jump around. About 90db is my top. Even that gets my ears hurting after a short while and I turn it down even farther. I have some, well a good bit of tinnitus going on but otherwise score well on a hearing test (on line ones anyway) . The Tinnitus I think has something to do with making my ears hurt whenever I listen really loud. I try and kind of take care of my hearing. When using power tools and the like I wear ear plugs and I wear them to concerts too.
