Except that somebody moved the engine to the front side, I think actually they mean that there is a brand new 3-head deck on the back seat (probably Technics) and some nice Type II Maxell tapes. Maybe, just maybe even some LP's too.
I mean, there was no CD players in that time so my guessing is obvious.

VW was AIR COOLED as well. The engine was modeled after the aircraft engines of the time.
