I doubt the story is true, but this does remind me of the tale about Sony firing its big Madison Avenue ad agency after they pitched a new campaign featuring the Japanese rising sun flag as the visual and the headline "Now, from the land that brought you Pearl Harbor..."

Since I was born in 1956 I was lucky to " play" with the transition from
analogue to digital . My first job was the design LC bandpass filters and the last was
3G Technical Project Leader and during my career I saw , I designed and I tasted
PLL, RF , A/D and D/a converters , And I could go on.
