And there are folks here who still fix the stock stuff too....
 
Not that 400's aren't worth having, but they're plentiful. Nice 700's are few and far between and the black faced Clair's are unobtainable other than the two Perry is offering. And as was stated, they're brand friggin new! You can always deal with the 400's down the road. Fix, sell, trade, whatever. Someone out there wants them and if you ask a fair price they'll sell. My advice is jump off the fence and never look back. That's what I did and I have absolutely no regrets. You only have one shot in life, enjoy it!

At my age it's probably not as good as Bryston's, but, its up there....
 
Why not build one and see how it goes, I also agree that you will not be able to go back to stock from a WOPL

edit: I see you have switched gears to the Clair 700's, doesn't seem like you are going to find a better deal than that.
