I like my Naks. Even the 2 head Naks are better than a lot of 3 heads. There is a but in this. I like my Yamahas. They are great. For the money they are the best bang for the buck. I quit buying Naks. I like the Yamahas so well.

Jerry if I ever get my Yamaha K-1020 back I'll let you try it.

For their simplicity, sound, and build, I dig my 2 head BOTL BX Naks. My 3 head Onkyo Integra TA-2600 is my favorite, accubias, top notch build, sounds great and looks cool.

Pioneers and JVCs (late seventies and early 80s are my preferred era for JVC).

I have a Sony TC-K75 and upcoming Nakamichi BX-1 that I have yet to truly explore.

I haven't really had much RTR experience but I know I like Teac and Sony and haven't met an Akai RTR that worked of yet other than an M-8.

it's always been PIONEER for me.

i've been all over the place vintage wise, yet always managed
to stick with PIONEER brand units.

here they all are, in order from very first to current;

Favorite, must I pick just one???

For the moment I am having a lot of fun with the Pioneer RT-701. It just has a coolness factor about it.

For cassette the Tascam 112B is the one I like, no real reason. It makes good sounding tapes and everything plays back well using it. The Naks are nice as is the Teac I picked up from FF. I have just had the Tascam for so long that it has a comfort factor associated with it.

I think the 302 motor or something I sent to Robert worked. I'll send the whole board. I'm not pulling a SMD even with the proper stuff to do it. LOL

Check with him, i think it's the board that mounts to the motor for speed regulation, BUT NOT SURE.

Hi Guys,

Let me know the details of what is needed and I will do what I can to help... There are drawers of SMD parts sitting in the shop.
