If I had that rig, I would be worrying about air currents and floor flex. Happily, I have a Sony linear tracker.

Carbon is where it’s at! That thing will be heavy and flexy. Long is good for a tonearm to reduce tracking distortion. But you will have an effective mass of... STUPID with that rig. Maybe if the arm was filled with helium...

I can make it work, but I’ll need $750,000.00 six months and a case of PBRs.

My plan is to set it at a downward slope to reduce the effect of gravity on the massive arm. Then make it from triple butted magnesium with a helium fill.
