What do ya suppose this is into 8 ohms RMS????



With the development of the TX-8255 stereo receiver, Onkyo has gone further with the affordability concept than I had even thought possible. Remembering all the Sonys and Onkyo DR-90 I had over the years, enough to broadcast Nine Inch Nails across the neighborhood.

Four ohms is for those blasted little cubes. I use real speakers.

PS As I remember, the DR-90 was more like SIX ohms...that explained a lot.

I can follow that this is an affordable two channel receiver that has five inputs but after that it's nebulous to me. I don't know what wide range amplifier technology means nor do I understand what 4 ohms of dynamic power???????? at 105 watts per channel is. There's too much missing information - see what learning can do to you. But the enhanced iPod compatibility - wow. BTW - does that mean?
