Enviromental splices

We used these on aircraft all the time. I hate crimping butt splices and they pull out. It doesn't happen often; but it does happen. I have to put the head bank in the 707 and there are just a few splices. These work great.

Know what else works great....solder and shrink tubing. Always a better connection than crimping (though not as easy).

These have solder in them. So when you melt the tube the solder also melts. That is why I like them.

I like the sounds of that. Guess I better look into getting some for around the house.
