Broken beyond repair but highly affable
It's CORONAVIRUS I'm afraid.

Saw him here in Dallas in 2018. Been a fan since the early 70s. Crushing news.

He got a ventilator, his wife had it too and I gather recovered.

Hoping for some respite though, this sucks cosmically.

At the end of his 2018 Dallas concert he laid his guitar down on the stage and started doing this slow boogie around it. Always facing the guitar. After a couple rounds he started going backwards offstage. Still facing the guitar. AWESOME.

John is shaking God's hand. Bless you John Prine.

“I guess I just process death differently than some folks. Realizing you’re not going to see that person again is always the most difficult part about it. But that feeling settles, and then you are glad you had that person in your life, and then the happiness and the sadness get all swirled up inside you. And then you’re this great, awful candy bar, walking around in a pair of shoes.”
— John Prine

Sorry. Had to post again. This is how I imagine John's nightclub in heaven would be. Be sure to listen to the last song.

His episode of Austin City Limits has been re-run thre times this week No, it never gets old.
