I am ready to wire the DCP from Don as I now have the speaker binding posts...I need help....or I can pull a PL 400 from the rack, pop the top and take a peek. This way is easier, if someone will help me..

From the left side of the DCP board.....looking at the Phoenix terminals...

Bank One

Left Speaker +
Left EMPTY
Left Speaker -

Bank Two

Right Speaker +
Left Empty
Right Speaker -

Bank Three

DC +
AC from Bridge Rectifier
GROUND-- from copper bus bar...ring terminal to the screw holding the storage cap in place.

I'm sure of Banks One and Two, but Bank Three.....I'm probably wrong... I just need someone who knows to tell me... I'm too excited...

I calmed down and figued it out. I did what men are NEVER suppose to do. I read the instructions.

I used 18 guage for the AC+ and GROUND. I used 22 guage for the DC + connection. It is soldered to the + rail of the second bank of the outputs, as the instructions indicate..

Should I put the new meter/LED board and meters in the circuit, or does it matter? I have tested with the DBT and all looks cool. I'm ready to put the two fuses back in her and connect speakers and a preamp and CDP, but don't want to jump the gun and screw anything up. What do you think?

Oh and ONLY the DRIVER transistors are installed. Do I need to go ahead and install ALL the outputs, or would it be better to add them one row at a time? i just want to be careful and not blow anything up. I want this one to work..

Don't worry about the meters or meter board yet. Just isolate the wires so they don't shport on anything. We got a long way to go before this gets put ona pair of speaks.

Yeah, I got lucky...but you said "FIRE THAT MUTHER UP !!!" and I did. Now I'm ready to set bias and offset. I do have a sig gne, scope and meter. Now what? It does sound a little distorted, so I definately need to not get ahead of you guys. What is a fellow to do? I followed the direction I had and fired her up...

I'm now ready to do it right...

Let me know how....I'm just excited and ready to get er done...
