Hi all,
How do you guys dismount the original PL 909 transistors? With what kind of tool? Metric wrenches wont fit, somewhere in between 6mm and 7mm. And also the space to turn is limited.
Curious how you professionals deal with it..
Cheers!

SAE 1/4” thin walled socket or nut driver.

Remember, these things were assembled in the US in the ‘70’s…

Thanks you all!
So this exactly the screw bit standard. I used a screw bitadapter in reverse, worked well!

In addition a question. Im stiil on original driverboard.

Can i replace the RCA410 for a MJ21196 in row 1 column 2 and 4 (seen from the back, left to right, binding post to transformer) ? WO states it is recommended for WOPL board but is it allright for a normal board too?
