Dick Butkus World Class Middle Linebacker for the Chicago Bears from 1965 to 1973 died October 5 2023 at the age of 80.

According to Hall of Fame defensive end Deacon Jones, Butkus "was a well-conditioned animal, and every time he hit you, he tried to put you in the cemetery, not the hospital." In 2009, the NFL Network named Butkus the most feared tackler of all time.

All City with Chicago Vocational, All American with University of Illinois All Pro with the Chicago Bears, also rated #9 of the greatest Football Players in American Football History, I think he and Bubba Smith did Miller commercials
He was also drafted in the first round by the Chicago Cardinals but elected to take less money to play with the Bears, I watched him play back when the Bears played at Wrigley Field, his pay back then was 110.000 a season.. RIP
