Denon POA-2800 Performance Test and Review

Recieved the Denon from Mark today, as soon as I revamp the speaker wire ends we'll have it on the horns. this could be the next lottery amp....

Somebody is going to be very happy..... this is the next lottery amp. VERY GOOD bass response, clean, quiet, a conservative 200wpc into 8 rating....initial impressions are very good. It's not a WOPL, sounds an awfully like the Spec 2 and that ain't a bad thing.....studying the service and owners manuals. After the initial shakedown we'll do some adjustments and put it on the AP...

4th song now. It does not have control of the big woofs like the 700's, or the 400's for that matter, as clean in the mids and highs, not as much soundstage, yeah bass not as crisp....but a damn good sounding amp....

Ya know guys the more amps I hear, the more I think Joe knew exactly what he was doing when he picked the PL amps to re-engineer....

Now you need to purchase a modwright L200 preamp and see how it sounds on a WOPL100. Then if ya don't like it you can sell it to me on a payment plan.... It's only 5k new 3k used.. Lmfao

Why spend that much when a Spec 1, or Accuphase 200 does the same thing.....
