I knew it was a cash grab. I'd be happy with some Sonys or JVCs, and if I had the money some AKGs. I do have some Sony ones, they work well but won't take much power before you get that dull 'thumping' sound, they good enough for basic tasks.

I'd rather listen to my JBLs and WOPL 1000

No matter what time it is, I can have a reasonable volume without annoying anyone. I only have 1 neighbor and the rest are a road width away. I do keep it down from 11pm to 8am but its not painful, can still hear all the detail. A sign of a good amplifier.
