Dazen’s Digest

It certanly is Lee...

And not a silly electronic 80's game as Daren suggested.

I haven't graduated from Pac-Man yet Miles. Simon won't be attempted until my IQ goes into double figures.

Being serious for a few seconds - how easy is the Lamelle to play? I would imagine that as a percussionist, it will be quick for you to master.

Yes, it's a sort of percussion instrument, so it is a benefit for me to play it by bare hands.
The top side is in Major and the bottom side in Minor, so you have choices what kind of tone you prefer.
You can improvise for ours on this "door bell" without going anywere in sense of bordered lines of music.

Anyway, love the sound of this instrument and I will certainly do some recordings with this and see how it turns out.

These are different than the ones with the "dimples" in em??

Yeah - you must add a few samples to one of your future mixes.

I bet it will sound awesome. :)

Great presentations of the Icebreaker LP, Daren! I see lots of good material waiting to be compiled into a new mix. I hadn't realized you had linked tracks to each for your albums until Ben had mentioned it- I will check them out.

Nando.

Miles: A little practice on the double-sided steel tongue and you will be able to create some really neat intros to some of your mixes.

I think I will Nando...

Unfortunately all my other activities are delaying my mixtaping for a while and holidays are right in front of me, but it's for sure I will pick up all the "unfinished business" after that.

First another rehearsal with my new band tonight.... (always fun! :toothy8: )

So much music, so little time Nando...

I see that the old mix tape thread at Tapeheads has recently been revived. That was always one of my favourites.

I agree, Daren, time seems to be flitting by way too fast. I had to revive the mix tape thread on TH and I'm sure lots of members there have been encouraged to participate since I jump-started the thread.

Nando.

I restarted their Musical Chain.

Keep up the good work Nando. I check that thread regularly. :)

I have been reliably informed that you & Chris have done outstanding work keeping the Chain going.

Steven, could you work your magic on the MD exchange thread too please? :)

Hey Pat,

How many MD owners are there over at Tapeheads these days?
