Well I received 2 boxes. The TT arrived and the Perpetual P1 and P3 arrived. I have to say this is the nicest TT I have ever owned. I'm a little tired so I will take pics of everything soon. I think I'll hook everything up to the tube rack after a nap. See if my MH protractor works. I know if I hook it up. I won't want to put the Shure on it.
That's the Audio Alchemy components we got moving around for listenin'. The DDE is the DAC component, while the DTI goes between the digital source and the DDE and does cleanup on the digital signal (jitter correction, etc). Mark could probably explain it better tho - I just know they sound damn good, heh. Listening to a 24 bit .flac from a SACD (Pink Floyd, Dark Side of The Moon) right now.. wow...
Nah, I still can't get a signal through with the I2S cable. I just use a coax from the DTI's output to the DDE/DAC's input. Mark says the I2S is even better, but "as it is" it really sounds good.
I doubt if I have a CD player that can take advantage of that. It has analog RCA's in and out and a CD out that i believe is analog also. It's a Teac AD-3 CD and cassette combo.
