Well I received 2 boxes. The TT arrived and the Perpetual P1 and P3 arrived. I have to say this is the nicest TT I have ever owned. I'm a little tired so I will take pics of everything soon. I think I'll hook everything up to the tube rack after a nap. See if my MH protractor works. I know if I hook it up. I won't want to put the Shure on it.

Still listening to the 700. I understand your reluctance to send it out.

Got a DTI PRO and a DTI V2.0. Are they both anti-jitters?

That PT stuff looks delicious!

Yes I goofed. Now to find a DDE. I'm losing my mind. Yes it looks very good. I just saw 2.0 and thought it was a DAC. Watching the race at the moment.

What is a DDE? Or a DTI for that matter?
That's the Audio Alchemy components we got moving around for listenin'. The DDE is the DAC component, while the DTI goes between the digital source and the DDE and does cleanup on the digital signal (jitter correction, etc). Mark could probably explain it better tho - I just know they sound damn good, heh. Listening to a 24 bit .flac from a SACD (Pink Floyd, Dark Side of The Moon) right now.. wow... :thumbright:

You figured out how to connect the AJD? :cyclops:

If they improve the sound and don't cost an arm and a leg, that would be good.

Nah, I still can't get a signal through with the I2S cable. I just use a coax from the DTI's output to the DDE/DAC's input. Mark says the I2S is even better, but "as it is" it really sounds good.

I doubt if I have a CD player that can take advantage of that. It has analog RCA's in and out and a CD out that i believe is analog also. It's a Teac AD-3 CD and cassette combo.

That CD out is also two L/R RCA's, in addition to the regular output? Hmm.. I guess that's for bypassing a few circuits for purity?

I'm actually using the digital out of my EMU 0404 PCIx card. Beee-Yooutiful soundin' (yeah, sometimes I am a analog heretic, heheh :faroah: )
