Re: Busy nocturne at Chez Orange with fun pics of my crap et
I spent $30 at our recycled building materials store for some nice front panels with detentes and some internal hinging for the storage on the sides of the deck spots as well as cover over the holes of the desk bottom.
Definitely a great buy!
Somebody ate the wet cassette cleaner and fluid bottle that was in the Ford/JBL Audio driver's promo kit but I did get the Loran premium cassette (that WAS wrapped)... 3 days earlier the entire thing would have been unharmed. I found that much though.
My $25 Digital Satellite System pair of receivers are Ultra Viewsat VS2000's and I'm supposed to have all the stuff, the remote is there. I have somebody who can build my tower and build a mounting space for the SuperDISH HD antenna my rotor and a new antenna as well as a line for shortwave. I have a top piece my late friend's family gave me along with a lot of galvanized steel pipe. I finally have a way to realize my new tower.
I have the Dish Network antenna combiner as well!
I found an Olympus NiMH charger for $1.75 so I can charge my four NiMH AA cells I used to use with the flash unit for my old Mamiya 1000 SDTL and that is also sweet.
I( bought some nice 1.00 LPs, quality assumed hardly perfect but I found Eagles Greatest Volume One in the jacket, no cover, Barbra Streisand GH which has to be early 70s as twelve LPs are sown on back and the last two are Funny Girl and the one after and He Touched Me is the one I really recognize...Highwqy 101 2,...what musxt be a fairly early RCA Victor mono Tchaikovsky Symphony no. 6 "Pathetique" licensed from the Gramophone Company, LTD and performed by the Philharmonia Orchestra, Guido Cantelli, Conductor.
The cover is open at the bottom but this is one I will post a picture off as soon as I recharge the battery.
I also got Olivia Newton-John's Totally Hot, featuring With A Llittle More Love and Totally Hot and the first one making it a great find as it's a personal favorite and a great job once again by John Farrar. I bought a Warner Bros. mono copy of Peter, Paul and Mary's In The Wind, not because I really recognized the songs but because a young, happy, and skinny Mary Travers is flanked by her two dapper partners and they all looked so damned carefree and happy I had to get it...it's a gorgeous cover!
Somebody added In Concert to the sleeve, also in mono so I may be blessed!
Maynard Ferguson-Conquistador and that masterpiece Audio Fidelity DFS 7777, Stereo Spectactular Demonstration & Sound Effects
I have a box of Scotch 203 to check out and at $1.00 a 7" box at my friend Bob's shop it might be fun.
Last of all I bought a book, Big and Rich by Big Kenny and John Rich and it's unspoiled with the DVD still in there and untouched...
Now THAT is NEAT!
Now if I overspent it was some of the best overspending I have ever done.
