The Philips GA-202 is hidden in that picture and the clock is a C-battery quartz pendulum movement with nice phony Westminster chimes. The Pioneer PL-115D is on the shelf above it, I have a Hitachi-made MCS 6600, PL-4, Technics SL-1300, Sony PS-T25, Silvertone suitcase portable and RCA Victor 7-HF-4 (which I've typo'd as 7-HF-45 a ffew times) a phono only console built for the "Silver Jubilee" (RCA's annniversary of buying Victor?) with a commemorative badge inside the lid and a 'stereo-convertable' model.

And the PL-610.

I have to fix most of them and I need needle for some and cartridge mounting for others, something they finger don't have fun with.

The Philips is the only fully operational one right now.

Well, the first attempt to put the frame of the broken Napa cassette storage shelving was basically good at first, but I was

RUSSIAN and somebody shouldn't have LATVIAN me do it,

I'll work on it again soon.

I have a new tuner, a Pioneer TX-7800. The 9100 is in reserve for when I fix an SA-520.

Pictures later...Something may get here that I've waited for...

More as I go along but I've been napping most of the weekend.

Re: Busy nocturne at Chez Orange with fun pics of my crap et

Those are reserved for tapes I know I have but haven't located, and there are over a hundred left to go with what is on the top of the record shelf, the blank, unmarked BASFs in two lengths...more than the 400 tape capacity plus a 36 tape shelf can hold.

One or two spaces aren't very usable because I couldn't get the screws I used to join the bottom and top of the two joined units to go all the way in (my drill is middle aged and hates denser woods).

I tried using a screw on no. 4 once to join a corner but that didn't last long so now I'll glue and use corner braces. My brother in law did a world-class wrecking job on what had just been a matter of gluing and taping, he says he didn't see it so if I had moved it far out of the way...

It's gonna take work.

I went to JO-ANN FABRICS tonight and chose this fabric for the back and bottom panels...Keys.JPG[/attachmentWeave.jpg[/attachment:3uo3htzm]

Cost (last day of a sale) $7.99/yard, $1/yard off, just over $10 for the fabric.

Re: Busy nocturne at Chez Orange with fun pics of my crap et

It was not all that chiily out there so I got two of the three cassette shelves painted work on the third later and I put most of the almond paint I could apply with a roller on another large cabinet, will use a brush later.

The thing that worries me though is it could just as well foretell snow or really cold weather...I think I may have managed to get some crucial work done this week.MVC-003S.JPG[/attachment:3q49bf9w]MVC-005S.JPG[/attachment:3q49bf9w]MVC-008S.JPG[/attachment:3q49bf9w]

Now I can sleep (and so can the cats)!

They don't need as much sleep as you, they just act like it.

They watch you until you're done.

At least they never call OSHA.

My one is there what ever I do and God please don't let her hear the printer. She will watch it for hours to see if something else is going to come out. LOL
