I got these from a friend for $100 he screw up the thin wire from the solder lugs to the the resistors he use too much heat soldering the lugs he had a Audio Note L5 tube preamp kit it was a old version from the ones on there site

The AliExpress 24 step Ladder volume controls I use, the so called "Taiwan Product Copper Shaft".
It's a very good product for my level of use.
Learned how to build the similar stepped balance attenuator because no one offered a similiar one like I wanted.
Anyways, these old relics have the room to mount them.

Oh yeah, several far better switches out there. These blue plastic switches are definitely entry level.
