How ya' doing George? Back spasms are one of the worst things that can happen - I sure hope you get through this soon and I'm thinking of you man. Drugs can take the edge off but they're only a temporary mask as you already know.
 
Well, I'm up..... for a little while.
Things to do, and stuff to get before the day's finished.
God, I hate being sick!

I'm glad you have his phone number Derek - just need to get him to answer. Maybe a shock collar hooked up to the ring tone would help:laughing9:.

I know that severe back problems can make life miserable - my wife suffered for almost a year before getting surgery to repair what was a bulging disk that eventually ruptured. BTW - surgery worked for her but the surgeon was (now retired) world renown. I've had a day or two (multiple times) where back pain has kept me bedridden and that sucked big time - but the episodes were separated by years.

Get well dude! I'd attach the hot chick that would give you a back rub but I don't want to wind up in the cave again. You know how that is.

Hey, thanx for all the concern fellas, but I'm up, and back to training for the Olympics.
They have a new event coming up. "Interrupted Synchronised Sleeping", and seeing as me and the kids have got so much practice in the last week, I figure we've got this one in the bag....
.... and then there's the "Short Hop, and Step, but NO Jump" event, plus the "I'd Walk a Mile in YOUR Shoes" event. That's the one where you get someone else to put your shoes on and walk a mile. Although that one may be cancelled due to health concerns.

Only problem now is, I don't know what to do. Too scared to move, in case I have a relapse. :(
.... but I desperately need to get more shoppin' done to fill up my panties. Oops, I meant pantries.
Well, at least it was pay day today. Yeay!!!!!!

Damn, looks like we got rain for the day. Oh well, back to bed. It's way too cold.....

You are going to be a champion at those olympic events, soon enough you will have a bunch of Medals!

That's cool, you have to look after yourself. I know that's why you are going back to bed because all those amps would be keeping the place nice and toasty. Got to finish an hour early today because I worked an extra hour yesterday, its getting easier to lift all those pallets, not smoking helps too, its tough even with Nicotine Replacement Therapy but am determined. Passed the test today when I was offered a cigarette, I refused to even have a drag.:cussing:

yep! i can feel it in my bone. we're gonna win the next one, easy....

see, i told ya, you'll get better at your gig, the more healthier you get by giving up smoking and just generally being more active, and just doing more.
think of your job as an opportunity to 'work out', and the bonus of not having to pay a fitness club or gym, to get fit.

just be careful with your drinking, 'coz as 'they' say, if you drink and drive, make sure you have a car! :laughing9:
 
Welcome back BD!! At least you can make to the computer and type. Keep that back healthy - whatever that means.

Found two six packs of beer in the bin at work yesterday, not even opened, they are in my fridge now. Was cactus when I got home then the nicotine cravings were killing me, so got shitty and went to bed, slept for 10 hours. Never drink and drive you might spill your drink! :laughing9:

... and about drinkin' and drivin', make sure you're not on a mobile phone as well. you could get confused and put the wrong one to your ear.

:laughing9: I've been through this quit shit so many times before earlier in life, but smoking was really making me feel like crap, its catching up with me so its time to stop seriously. I've quit harder things than this. Gotta try and get some recording done this morning, that's if I don't get distracted, which is highly likely =).
